Dean, Chris and Genevieve, We have returned to Singapore and before life moves on wanted to send you a note to say how thrilled I was with Joshua and Kasey’s surfing lessons. I actually didn’t think at 5 and 6 they would be up….they both love the water and thought what a great thing for them to do during the holidays. Ben was absolutely fantastic from the moment we met him. He oozed Confidence, Re-assurance, Encouragement and Praise for both boys! This set the scene for 5 great surfing lessons and today they have taken their surfing mag to school to show all and sundry! I have and will continue to share my positive thoughts about the Coolum Surfing School, Kasey is already asking when his next lesson will be…. hopefully will be back to Coolum at Christmas!

We cannot thank you enough for your fantastic coaching, fabulous local knowledge and incredible generosity during our recent trip to Coolum. Not only had we never surfed before but we had never visited the Sunshine Coast. Our experiences in spite of the slightly frustrating weather have left us very keen to visit again, and certainly keen to try and improve our surfing skills. Your professionalism and friendship went above and beyond expectations and made the trip the very memorable holiday it was. Please also pass on to Doc our very grateful thanks for his patience enthusiasm and kindness to the younger kids in our group. He was the perfect person to encourage and guide them – thank you for introducing him to us ! I can’t imagine that you would even want or- need to leave the paradise you have in Coolum, but if you are even in Adelaide, please look us up. We would love to repay some of your kindness.

I am a Grade 7 Primary School Teacher from Caboolture and last year I was looking for a special activity for my students. I decided to spend the day at Coolum beach where they could have a 2hr surfing lesson and then games on the beach all run by experienced, fun coaches from Coolum Surfing School. Well it was a huge hit! The first thing my new students this year asked me was, “When are we going surfing?” It is certainly on the agenda for each year not. A fantastic day!

I was so keen to get started and went out by myself for a while (not knowing what I was doing!) and then for my birthday I got a gift voucher for a lesson with Coolum Surf School and after my first lesson with Chris, I was so stoked and from then on I had a new found confidence and ability that took me to the next level of stoked-ness (and surfing knowlegde). Thanks Heaps Coolum Surf School, Life is so much better when you surf.

Thanks Chris and Gen for the fantastic staff party you organised for us. The whole Pebble Design team had a great morning learning to surf and the catering you organised for a pre surf certainly disappeared quickly.

5 stars guys! Our thanks to Chris and Gen for a fabulous introduction to surfing. Private lessons with Chris provided an exhilarating experience with an important emphasis on surf education and safety (which is important to parents with kids just learning to surf). Coolum Surf School provides an excellent service with great communication. A must for holiday makers to Coolum. Thanks again guys!

We cannot thank you enough for the wonderful time Scarlett had learning to surf at Coolum Surf School. The positive encouragement and praise given to her in her first attempts at surfing undoubtedly helped her to her feet in the first few minutes and the continued careful schooling enabled her to pick up the basics quickly. She cannot wait for her next visit.

RE: Rip Curl Girls Go Surfing Day Hi Gen Can I say that you run a great school there too. The tutors and all who helped were wonderful and very patient which meant a pleasurable day for not only Ty but for the rest of us watching too. I had a daughter who had a smile on her face for some time after! (ps: She has now taken up a learning to surf class through her high school too)

Came to your beautiful place with our kids to get away from our quakes, my son loved your surf school and he wants to move onto your back door…….would be nice. Raining and 5 degress and more shakes, might see you soon, thanks again, good old NZ

Best $50 ever spent, not only did the guys teach us how to surf, they also taught us how to read the beach conditions. Thoroughly loved it, Great Value, Thanks Ben for a great lesson.
