A huge thanks to Chris & Gen @ Coolum Surf School for making our surfing experience a highlight of our recent Coolum holiday. Chris taught us the principles of surf awareness & safety for longevity not just for the short term lesson. It was very easy to learn with Chris and he even had our 5 year old daughter wanting her own board after just a 10min lesson. We also enjoyed Chris & Gen’s generosity & flexibility when we hired boards, beach tents & umbrellas for the few days after our lessons. We are currently planning our return trip to Coolum – can’t wait!

Just wanted to thank Gen and Coolum Surf School for the beautiful surfboard I purchased from them and for going to the trouble to get it shipped to the bottom of NSW! I love it! Thanks heaps again!

Thank you both very much for our private lessons. They were awesome, I enjoyed both the practical aspect (the surfing bit) and the theoretical aspect (learning about the conditions). I will feel much safer in the water and will feel safer about my daughter Olivia being in the water. Olivia and I are keen to further her surfing now that you have started us off. Thankyou for teaching me everything i needed to know about how to surf properly and safely. Thanks to you and your surfing teachers, I have now been entering compititions and coming out with great results.

Our people loved their lessons and some are now motivated to take up surfing. Great coaches/teachers! We will return.

I just wanted to email and let you know what fantastic instuctors you have. Jace Ryan our daughter has been going to Coolum surf groms for some time now. She loves it and is progressing well and just about ready to step up to a fibre glass board. I was talking to Taylor about this and she said she had a board Jace could borrow. Jace had a surf on it today and loved it, Its a fantastic little board in great condition and Taylor has let us take it home to borrow. Its her own board and one of her favorites. Generosity and trust like that is rare these days and Taylor and all your instructors are great ambassadors and role models for the sport and your business, your very lucky to have them

I just want to give you some positive feedback and let you know what a fantastic time we had on Saturday Surf Groms for our first lesson. We had Ben and Pierre and they were excellent! So easy going and patient with the kids – they really learned a lot and we are looking forward to our next lesson!!

I am writing to commend Ben for the care he took of my daughter during her surfing lessons from Jan 2 to Jan 5. She is profoundly deaf and he managed to communicate effectively and encourage her. She left each lesson feeling happy and with a sense of achievement. It was a pleasure to meet Ben every morning and I would recommend him to others. A big thank you
